At the time, I was a Dolphins fan but casual watcher of games. But I DO recall my Dad watching MNF very often. I'd be willing to bet that on the night of this game, our neighbor, Wayne Michael, who grew up with my Mom, probably came over and watched. Wayne loved the Steelers. When Wayne was in the Hospital and dying of Cancer, back in 2006, my Mom visited him and I brought up the nights he came over to watch MNF with my Dad. His face lit up. My Dad used to laugh at how excited he'd get during games and biting his nails to the quick. Simply seeing the Production, the commercials, Howard Cosell, is like a time warp.
