The D may have a pass-rush-in-waiting for '24 from the middle, LB blitz, one edge, and another that may develop from Mathis. Not as high a priority as the secondary.

The defensive backfield lacks size, speed, just about everything else required for high level performance. Draft a couple of good corners high in thre dtaft (if they're available) and/or a safety and see what happens there, and maybe an ILB to play beside Jones.

Keep both Dotson and Jones. We won't get immediate plug-and-play equivaent replacements for either in FA or the draft.
