In my post above I was thinking specifically of the possibility of trading up for an edge - if one struck Snead as being worth it.

We know the demand; we know that Les is always looking for a trade partner, we know that edges in the free agency market will be way, way overpriced; the stars seem to align for a possible "surprise" move up to grab one in the draft - maybe.

Buy an edge in the draft by trading up and spending first contract dollars instead of overpaying in both salary and draft capital to fill he same position? Just musing over the possibility...
