He has played at right guard at an elite level. As such, he will be paid accordingly once free agency begins. Rams surely know that.

I think Rams will allow him to leave, take the comp pick next year, and have confidence in Coach Wendell to develop another right guard that they bring in. Those cap dollars simply must be devoted to other needs.
