The Rams deficits this year are no secret. And nothing about the Lions game added to or subtracted from it.
The issues are rather how best to address them: draft or FA. And, what is the priority.
Since the Rams have a more or less full draft compliment, they will be able to address some of their priorities in the first 2 rounds....I suspect Edge and Secondary. Yet, I do see them making a big play for a very good veteran Edge rusher. The problem here isn't going to be so much the money as it will be that the best guys will probably be franchise tagged. Perhaps one of two of them like Allen or Burns will make it clear that they will not under any circumstances play for their current teams, thus opening up a trade scenario.
I don't think there is any debate that the lack of outside pass rush pressure is the primary concern. Not far behind is I think secondary.
I do NOT think Oline is a priority....except perhaps for depth..... assuming that we tag Jackson and re-sign Dotson.
But, TE must now be a concern. With Higbee simply not being able to stay healthy, and suffering with what is likely an ACL, that is going to have to be addressed in one way or another.
WR is another position that is NOT a priority, but they will probably try to find a hidden gem in the draft that is a speed merchant. There are usually several of those each year.
