The organization made a decision in the off-season that they'd go to war with the army they had and stuck to their guns - good and bad.
And yes, that meant Hoecht getting exposed in coverage. And no, he shouldn't have been there. But that's the decision they made - and it hurt us (again).
But this isn't anything new. You KNEW this when you made your prediction. Regardless of the circumstances, the Ram defense played 4 quarters and allowed 24 points (only 3 in the 2nd half).
Not gonna be mad at them considering the circumstances.
