The ticket is bought so you can go outside your viewing area and see any game you want. This BS with having NBC, but having to buy a game through Peacock is a pure money grab. Not the same purchase to me.....one gives you a multitude of viewing options, the other is forcing you to buy just to watch any game they choose to put on peacock, while at the same time they are run through NBC, which is free broadcasting. Same can be said with that ESPN/ABC schlock.....The National Championship was on ESPN, but they can, when they choose put Monday Nite games on ABC....Come the NCAA game you had to have ESPN.....
I have Roku and we have decided to make it as cheap as an entertainment value as possible. So we have thousands of choices for free, and add in an antenna and you get all the alphabet channels ABC, CBS, PBS NBC + all their digital offshoots. We purchased the Ticket via You Tube and also picked NFL+ for ability to replay any games at any time.
Outside of those 2 purchases + a news source that's about all out of pocket we have....No ESPN as you need to get Sling/Fubo etc......Those contents have no interest to us save for the loss of a lot of college ball...we'll live with it.
