He clearly knows football in an elite fashion. But whether he was a championship level coach is an open question. He was cheating when Brady and he won their first three championships. Their last three was hampered but they already had a formula that was installed into the software that wouldn’t have been their if they had not cheated in the early years.
What would Chuck Knox have done with all the extra intelligence he might have collected by cheating? Maybe Knox beats the Cowboys and Vikings in those playoff games?
But without the codependency he had with Brady is operating as cheaters, he’s done nothing.
