I do think Rams draft a WR from this fine crop but not in 1st round. Incidentally, our pick will be in the twenties somewhere.
I resonate with Rock’s take. Our OLB pash rush is abysmal and our CB’s leave a lot to be desired. Both units need upgrades if we hope to be competitive in a SB run next year.
Now, a lot could be fixed with judicious FA moves or a trade or two way before draft to solve both issues. Rams will have cap dollars and trade assets to utilize.
IF Rams can ‘fix’ edge and maybe CB predraft then the deck is pretty much cleared for Snead to work his magic with BPA’s throughout the draft again.
As an aside, it’s not too early to start thinking of acquiring Stafford’s eventual replacement if one they like should be available at one of their picks, including maybe even their 1st if they still have it.
Would love to extend Dotson, but not at anywhere near $16M. Sorry. Not with this draft and this OL coach. I’m afraid Dotson has outplayed Rams ability to squeeze him under the cap next year.
