From McVay's Presser regarding Munchak...
“
He's been awesome. I mean you talk about a guy with an amazing amount of
wisdom, humility. He's got just such a great way about him. He's got such a
calming presence but man, is there a lot of wisdom, both as a player and as a
coach. He's done a great job of being able to work in coordination with
(Offensive Line Coach) Ryan Wendell, (Assistant Offensive Line Coach) Zak
Kromer, (Offensive Assistant) Nick Jones. Those guys love him. He's just kind
of got that steadying way about himself that… I love being able to spend a little
bit of time with him, get his perspective. He has head coaching experience so
there are a lot of different things that he's just a great sounding board for us.
He's a stud and we love having him around.”
I have a feeling Munchak deserves a ton of credit for the OL this year. Maybe more than coach Wendy. He was brought in for a reason and I think he did his job well.
I hope he sticks around for a while. His experience is invaluable and has already paid dividends.
How much credit do you think he deserves? Is he the main reason for our OL's success? I am thinking he is a major part of it!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
