I would love it if the Rams smashed the Lions' fans hopes! All my friends would cuss me and the Rams. Of course I wouldn't rub it in.
If Detroit lost to the Rams the fans here would say, "yeah, same ol Lions, one game and they get bounced!" They wouldn't take the defeat so hard because they're really used to it. It's normal for the Lions to suck.
But I think the Lions are a good team and somewhat well coached. Dan really screwed up this last week, along with the horrible call.
I actually think the difference maker would be McVay/Morris: Can McVay/Morris call a game well enough to beat Detroit's strengths? (Offense). I tend to be pessimistic so I have my doubts and apprehensions.

I tend to think that Mcvay knows a thing or two about what affects Jarrod and how to attack him. He knows some of his limitations.
