I attribute that more to personnel than scheme. Yesterday's was much worse than the one in Baltimore.
I don't think it's the scheme either Dog. It seems like a talent issue to me with some players forgetting their responsibilities and being out of position too often or not playing the scheme the way Morris wants it to be done.
Having said that, we all knew are defensive backs might be an issue this year and they are but IMO they still have outperformed their expectations for the most part.
Morris and staff are killing it on defense this year!
In fact if there was an award for the Coaching staff of the year, it would have to go to McVay/Morris IMO. What they have done this year has been extraordinary.
It was a loooong night last night! lol
I still agree with you and I also agree with 53 that the hang time might be an issue that needs to be fixed if possible.
As for yesterday, the announcers mentioned that it was very poor tackling and everyone was out of their lanes when the dude broke free. The replay showed like 7 guys all in an area the size of a phone booth!
For all the "youngsters: out there, a phone booth was a way for people to make calls on a public phone and have a little privacy! lol
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
