Good point, but my expectations are a bit different this year. Given the number of players that have left the past 2 seasons I was confident this year would be up and down. We have actually far exceed my original expectations. I know we are only 8-7, but IMHO we are, at minimums the 4th best team in the NFC. I think we can beat the Cowboys & Eagles. However, the 9ers do look like the best team in the NFl. They will be very hard to beat.

Given my original prognosis, I would be thrilled to make the playoffs this year. Now, I think we could win a divisional round game. If we do, we would most likely play th 89ers @Levi, which is a tall order. Think we can mark it a game, but too many poor 4th t D’s to think we can close it out. Hey, I would love it if we nada the NFC Championship game, but realistically i think we have too many holes on D and ST.
