We're all here to just enjoy the Forum. It's going to happen to you and me and others here I'm not going to point out if you duplicate post or anyone else does. One of the Articles I posted from the previous day you posted the next day it was directly front and center to mine and another too.
Again, I never said a thing. Time to not be so concerned about it as again I don't really care if someone duplicate posts something I post it's just going to happen. As Always GO RAMS!
If it happened just once in a blue moon that’s one thing, Berendsen.
Or if the original post has fallen off the front page that also deserves a mulligan.
But if you were to do an objective audit, you will find that my errors are very rare whereas yours are relatively numerous.
I put some effort into what I copy and paste here. First, I try to only post things that are relevant, informative, and/or entertaining. I try to avoid the Captain Obvious crap that pollutes so many of these websites.
Then, where possible, I tend to include the text and a picture in my post. It’s simply more user friendly than a mere link. An 8 year old can post a mere link.
After all that when I see it duplicated a couple of hours later by a serial offender with a simple link? Yeah, it does annoy me. It siphons off discussion for the original post. AKA a breach of etiquette. It’s not as if we haven’t had multiple conversations about this.
