I would like to make an adjustment to the pass interference rule.

Specifically I would like to make it that defensive pass interference will not be called if the receiver is running back toward the quarterback or the line of scrimmage I guess

We see too many cheap game-changing pass interference calls when a receiver is running with the cornerback trailing both at full speed. Then the wide receiver stops or moves back toward the line of scrimmage causing the corner back to crash into them and often drawing a pass interference.

It's a cheap play and it shouldn't be rewarded. Although with the current rules if I were a receiver I would do it all the time
