I'm just thinking out loud on the great Herd Forum. There are so many intelligent, smart, witty posters on this board that know this team inside out and have a pulse on the players and coaching staff.
Should the Rams make the playoffs and their offense continues to surge, I believe Mike LaFleur is going to be a highly sought after head coach when the NFL season comes to an end.
(I know he's got some blips on his resume with the Jets) but his interviews catch my attention like some former Rams OC's recently hired as head coaches before him.
I had the same feeling when the Rams lost previous OC's Zac Taylor, Matt LaFleur and Kevin O'Connell.
There is something about Mike LaFleur when I watch his weekly press conferences that tell me he's on the same path.
Maybe I'm not seeing his interviews in the same scope many of you have?
Maybe I'm overrating his value more than I should but I he's got my attention and he speaks like a young and upcoming NFL head coaching candidate.
Am I overrating his weekly press conferences? I've been wrong before...
