I'm largely with you. I despised drafting Atwell and have been skeptical of him ever since. I thought he was 50/50 to even make the final 53 this August. And no, he has not performed at the level of a 2nd round pick. Just saying that given how far he's come from
total bust in 2021 (and the first part of 2022) to what he has done the past 20 games (53 catches in that span) he's been better and has contributed.
I am with you on drafting a WR this April- in part because Atwell carries a $1.88M cap number for 2024 and I think he has to earn his spot again. Plus Skowronek is a FA after 2024
and Kupp will turn 32 prior to the 2025 season. So I think backfilling the position in the 2024 Draft would be very, very wise.
