To go from being seen as total bust to what he is now. He's 3rd on the team in receptions and yards and probably will finish the season with 45+ catches.
His DVOA ranking among WRs is 50th and PFF ranks him 59th among 119 WR.
He's a nice depth piece. No more. But also no less.
His best chance to do that in a given game seems to be him running a nine and drawing a PI. I am glad he is working hard and competing to win a role with this team vice being an outright bust. But there is no universe where he is a 2nd round pick we should be happy about. Not unless we want to act like Browns fans.
Rams are an elite franchise now. It is ok to have high expectations.
Applying that lesson and looking forward there are plenty of players in this draft who can help us out as a WR3 who gives us explosive play potential. I am praying we take one of them. And this year it won't be some undersized dude who struggles to separate. Hopefully the Rams have learned their lessons on that one.
