I mentioned on another post, but is it possible the gaps in our deep coverage were because we were committed to containing Lamar Jackson, so 2 things happened:
We kept him in the pocket vs rushing in and overpursuing, so we really didn't get a pass rush. But by design. Make him beat us with his arm. (Which he did, smh)
But also: someone was spying him, so were the safeties perhaps being asked to do more and left a little void deep?
I believe there is some truth to this and we won't see the same problems next week.
