Who was favored to win? The Rams made it tough on Vegas this time by hanging with the Ravens. An influenced game is not neccessarily "fixed," but it can be influenced by jusy a few calls or non-calls and may be won (or the spread assured) if the tampering, shall we call it, is a deciding part of the anticipated outcome.
There are only a couple of areas in the game that are left solely to the discretion of the officials, now that the replay rules are in effect for catches, fumbles, and spotting the ball.
The areas that are left are:
1. Pass interference, where "judgement" calls tend to be lopsided in favor of one team, and
2. Holding " . "
It is what it is, and until the league redefines its relationship with Vegas, ain't nothin' gonna change.
