He's been beaten quite a bit where teams have not completed the passes, too. Moreso than Ramsey at his best. So I think it's fair to say we're getting as much from him as we did from Ramsey last season, but Ramsey had his feet up and also looked slow when he was isolated last season which is why they moved him. It was time.
Going forward though Spoon lacks wheels outside. So does Kendrick. If Durant could tackle he would have taken one of those jobs by now. Tomlinson can tackle but he's a flag waiting to happen. For next season though you can bet we either add speed outside the hash on defense or transition at least one of our faster corners out there. And between Spoon and Kendrick I'd keep Kendrick.
So nothing against the guy but we know who he is. A guy who will get beat over the top on good draws. Rams can do better IMO.
