Hoecht has play very well lately.
He is setting the edge which prevents teams by going wide. He rushes that passer very well and plays the running game well.
He had trouble covering TE's earlier in the season but that has not been a noticeable issue of late. Not sure exactly why that is. My guess is that they don't give him that responsibility anymore. Or perhaps it was just rare for him to cover the TE and when he did it didn't go well.
Overall I think he is a good and emerging player. Really this is his first year as a starter with a training camp behind him while playing the edge position. It is nice to see him improve during the season.
