1. Aggressive in FA. If it is possible to get an LT then do it. Otherwise go get another cornerstone spot not named QB. I like the Bears CB personally, but we might be able to find an edge we'll see. Also I'd try to add an interior OL via FA as well, doesn't have to be a top guy. Even just decent depth type is fine.
2. Go get the LT in the draft. This frees up Jackson for OG which precludes risk of paying Dotson if they have any reservations whatsoever. Either way interior OL and swing OT depth is improved. It mostly finishes up the OL rebuild, as the bones of the line with the LT, Avila, and Hav would be excellent.
3. Take your shot in 2024. If the team comes up short badly or if Stafford gets hurt and misses significant time then that next offseason take a shot on a QB up high, as we will have the OL in place for him to be protected.
The deficiencies with this team are primarily speed and cornerstone positions (LT, CB1, Edge). Focus on filling those, get the OL done, and see if we can get the job done again. If not then draft the kid QB up high and Stafford knows he's the bridge the next season.
