I reckoned similarly but many here like to buy into his media-generated offensive genius hype.
The past couple of years his game-planning, play-calling and 2nd half adjustments has often seemed beyond poor and it was not great in 2019-2020 either.
McVay would NOT be a big loss as an OC/play-caller but still may be a decent head coach if he released some control over the offense and perhaps found a better DC.
