The McVay offense has been on a steady decline since his first couple of years, excluding 2021 when they went "ALL-IN" w/ the F' the picks draft pick trade strategy and cap-busting All-Star team signings to win a SB at SOFI for Kroenke. Even then, as a wildcard team they barely squeaked out three 3-point play-off victories, winning the SB against a weak SB opponent with an injury decimated OL. It took all that for McVay to win a SB.
I'd like to see him do it again from this point before more raving about his offensive genius prowess.

During his first year, McVay had all kinds of ideas and had the Rams moving better than they had since the Greatest Show on Turf days. It seems that he started running out of ideas in 2018, but the Rams managed to win it all in 2021 on the basis of loading up on talent. I think the 2017 team was the best under McVay, even better than the 2021 team. In recent years, McVay has in my opinion been in the bottom third of NFL coaches in terms of ideas.
