Witherspoon was a known quantity from day one

He's a corner who looks great when he's got a decent matchup he can handle. But when he faces a guy with real juice it turns into a BBQ. Been that way his entire career, and he's towards the end now because he's a bit slower than he was.

Basically he's a guy you need to protect in the scheme. Best with a safety who can help him over the top. Lot of calls the Rams leave him hanging, but they don't have a lot of choice. Last game due to Durant being out we had safeties all over the place.
