It's bad enough that he's an athlete QB. But he's also not a very good human being. It's almost like karma is catching up to him (not that I believe in karma).
Despite all this, the Browns signed this guy to a record breaking, 100% guaranteed contract, which explains everything a person needs to know about the Browns and their ownership.
Funny how teams and fans always want to point to the exception to the rule about athlete QBs. The very few that actually survive for a few years. But almost always (as with Russell Wilson for example) they get beat up so badly over their first 3 or 4 years that they stop running so much and as a result their game impact diminishes.
I do NOT want the Rams to acquire an athlete QB. A pocket passer who can improvise is the way to go; certainly mobile in the pocket is a must. But not a guy who makes the highlight reels because of his running.
