The odds are high that Alt selected in the 1st round will be a successful NFL LT.
The odds are much lower that any QB selected in the first round will be a successful NFL QB.
That's just the reality of selecting players in the top part of the draft. And why if there is a way around it, do NOT draft a QB in the 1st round because you are using valuable draft capital for a huge gamble.
