There's something missing here. If the RB coach can elevate the games of Willims and Rivers, why has Evans not elevated his game, given the same coaching, the same opportunity?
For one thing, we don't know how Evans does in pass pro. Foraanother, we don'tknowhowhardhe'sworking, how hard he's trying.
I'd hate to be that fan who said, referring to another position, "Give Rypien a chance," or "Give Perkins a chance."
Given his collegetape I'm curiously excited to see how Zach Evans will perform as a pro - but will leave the final assessment in the hands of his RB coach, Ron Gould.
