But to your question. Better coaching and personnel management could produce a better result. This team never had a real chance because of what we are seeing. Some of the guys who have made the team probably should not have. Some of the players who are playing are not starter material. 3 superstars can barely move the needle. So either they are not as good as advertised or they don't have a supporting cast. We don't run enough being a young team and we don't have a kicking game that is very consistent or stout compared to some of our competition. at this point 3-6 is a legitimate indicator of a team that is in rebuild and we are learning for the future to identify building blocks. The product is also part an parcel of a coaching and philosophy of react and adapt but the reason we are not a true contender is we are not willing to coach around the players we have today.
O'Connell and Minnesota are a better example of building around what you have today and still trying to compete.
