Way too strong a word, they dismantled a hawks team that was picked to possibly take the NFC West, if not at least make a run on it in the 1st week. At the same time the RAMS were picked to finish anywhere from the bottom to the near bottom. The 2nd week they took the whiners, the 2nd rated NFC team to the SB to the mat......Fans got excited at how they were playing and IMO rightfully so...
And here you go taking that to some crazy level of posters being convinced of something? You confuse excitement, unexpected play with a feeling of being convinced of something.....I can say I know of no one who was convinced of playoff births for them.....I can say some thought/felt they had a chance....and really in fact they still do. The NFC is riddled with bad teams.....I say they still have a chance, do you take that as I am convinced of something?....LOL......Until a team is out mathematically they are still in the hunt.
