For me, we saw three issues in personnel that need addressing beyond QB
1. RB
A reload with star talent is essential. "Being Available" is now a hemorrhaging idiom.
2. TE
Love Tyler, but they need to examine the TE room. Backup QBs need a big body to find when things are going haywire. It's also on Coach to figure out "Move back" "Fullback" "TE" within his scheme and get the right BIG body. While Tyler is "dealing with stuff" the rest of the TE group is......"choose your mad libs"
At some point, I thought Sean would study and apply some of the Shanahan run components.
3. MLB
Yeah, yeah, yeah about the lack of pass rush I hear y'all. Without Jones, even with Jones, the screaming from my armchair is getting old about "fill, fill, fill" Whether this is a scheme issue or a personnel issue, the club just doesn't have the ability / talent to seal the outside or fill the middle. Whether that's a "Star" backer, or help for Ernie: It is obvious that the box has holes in it.
