They gave up a lot of points last game and over the past three games have averaged 24ppg against.
This is a bit of a panic move for them I think. They cannot afford to have a porous defense because then you cannot be patient and run the ball. And then their limited game manager QBs get exposed.
What will Young's impact be... He helps them for sure. We'll see how much though. My unpopular opinion round these parts is that they're not the same unit defensively this year and they have cap issues ahead and nothing at QB. Just gave up a third round pick for a guy who puts his feet up, have fun with that and enjoy your offseason after being bounced from the playoffs as per usual.
