I thought about that as well but I guess it depends on the difference in money on 3 active roster game checks w/ CA taxes vs. PS money in FL. He could probably go back to Tampa after he was released by the Rams but there's no guarantee there either.
I agree on the low taxes and rest of the season but 3 game checks for a vet like Wolf may be more than a full season on the PS. Not sure. Don't knwo about the salary difference but I know there is a large difference between PS and a vet minimum contract.
Either-way, the truth may also be playing for the Rams and McVay now is not exactly an enticing proposition. There could also be some hurt feelings from how his release was handled in some way. Henderson was probably desperate for work and has a short shelf life as a RB. Wolf may be building a contingency plan to work or coach elsewhere in the NFL.

Maybe he likes to fish and pay low taxes. Who knows.
