Well, no need to restate the obvious.
The front office support does not truly bolster your argument as they make plenty of mistakes as well.
It's not just one game, a lot of taken place beyond just this past weekend (clearly). Not going to spell all of this out any further as it has already been discussed ad nauseum on this board.
You can't just make up statements about expecting a deep play-off drive this year. Competitive with a shot at a wildcard berth at the end of the year was what many of us saw as possible. Now it could easily be a below .500 season.
We'll see what the rest of this season looks like and then, more importantly, the offseason but talent acquisition and development will be blunted if McVay the head coach and OC/play-caller does not evolve and improve. Through roughly half this season (8 games), he has not despite fielding well more than capable offensive talent.
BTW, the offense is struggling that it is filled with talent, experience and some key position players who have pro-bowl and all-pro credentials. That's McVay's baby and brainchild. Hard to give him a pass on that.

I believe in him as well. For those that want him gone - if you think he's worse than what's out there, who's out there that you think is better? Or are you just enamored with the idea of 'surely someone has to be better'.
Maybe see how the season ends before you pass judgement. He didn't forget how to coach. This was never supposed to be a deep playoff year, so why are you holding them to that standard?
When you have holes in your roster and kids and journeymen starting - games like yesterday are going to happen. Dallas is a veteran team with a lot of talent at home and off the bye.
