Again, the by-line of the writer who has misled us down this path of msitaken negative assumptions jumps out at me:

Six things to "know" about this player omits the most important ones, and stirs the pot of mistaken assumptions and the unneccessary controversy based upon them.

And I have to wonder: Is DaSilva actually this lazy or incompetent? Or does he have the cynical and and dark motives that such pieces as this lead us to suspect?

He writes a couple of good articles and I feel compelled to applaud him here in the board. And then he pollutes the punchbowl - again.

This piece, as a gross disservice to the young man coming in, those who brought him, and much less his readers, is low,low,low.
