Good to know - all of the past few posts.
If Havrisk took well to the coaching he will rejoin at the Rams, and the coach thinks he can make a consistent kicker out of a kid who has a bazooka for a leg, that's good on several counts: Good for the coach and player, obviously, and good for McVay and Snead for listening to the new coach, trusting his input, and acting on it.
This is how an effective organization (of any kind) is run.
I look at the Rams roster - not just now, but over the years going back to Fischer. Fischer built the nucleus of a good team, working in conjuncton with his new GM. Same GM has a significant role in hiring a new head coach when McVay was hired. mcVay and Snead have since had their adjustments to make; as McVay shows a tendency to trust more, delegate more, and be less controlling, especially through this last draf, the roster continues to be well managed.Snead thinks outside the box, is several moves ahead of us, certainly, in what he's up to, and has himself grown over those years.
Bottom line, I'm putting my DaSilva-generated anxiety over the kicking situation to rest. We're in good hands and we'll be OK. I'm trusting the Rams front office untilI have reason not to.
