He's not wrong.
The offensive design, lack of creativity in the play-calling and poor in-game management are holding back the offense a bunch.
McVay has TOP 5 offensive talent to work with plus a settled and now fairly solid or better OL yet is managing to get pedestrian results. 19 points a game over the past 3 games with BOTH Kupp & Nacua on the filed. That is greatly disappointing!
McVay the OC/PLAY-CALLER is a major problem here. He should fire himself from play-calling duties. He gets by due to great offensive talent virtually always present on his teams but is actually a fairly mediocre OC/play-caller (not a genius by any stretch of the imagination). The league adjusted to him but he did not adjust to the league.
