This is a douchie article written by someone who knows far less about how NFL offenses operate than one should when acting like an analyst. Beyond ignorant.
Matthew Stafford is keeping this offense together and makes incredible passes every single game. Kupp just dropped as many passes in one series as he did all last year. He also was on a different page than Matthew more times in these last three games than he did all last season. And Kupp isn't the only one who has stalled drives with errors and drops. As excellent as Puka is, he's dropped a LOT of passes and so has Williams and Higbee. Those who only count sacks to determine whether or not a QB is getting undue pressure are guilty of farging ignorance of the crappiest order. In my opinion, having watched Stafford since he was in Georgia...stats be damned, I believe he's having his best season.
Anyone who says Stafford hasn't been great this season, I have one question for you. Can you call ONE SINGLE PLAY as relayed by an NFL QB in the huddle and tell me what responsibilities were communicated?...I will then listen to your opinion. If not, please learn a bit more of the game before pretending to be some sort of journalist.
