Actually, that may be the only aspect of the game I would not give a failing grade too.... I'd say the running back tandem was a B-?
But i am now officially worried about Evans - - that he just doesn't have it. don't "KNOW" that but I'm definitely feeling that's the case. I think McVay has a very strong bias towards 'knowns'... (not necessarily a bad thing).... He knew Henderson, very well.... in hindsight I don't think the starting RB for that game was ever up for grabs..... as soon as Henderson came aboard he was going to be the guy... no matter what any other RB had showed in practice. AND... for the most part, Henderson came thru.
