Thought he just ham-handed it. He extended himself, but just couldn't complete the catch.
Steeler WR had a classic alligator arm "effort" later in the game.
They said it looked like he "heard footsteps" and if you watch the replay, you can see his eyes go off the ball to where the DB was coming from.
Higs was definitely worried about getting lit up in my opinion. The problem is that Higs is bigger than the dude who was going to hit him.
He didn't have Ricky Waters type "Alligator Arms" but he definitely had a "for who, for what?" moment IMO.
For who? Your teammates. For what? All the millions the pay you to make those catches! C'mon Higs Man up! That's a ball you HAVE to catch!
go to the 4:43 mark...
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
