I think it likely they would just introduce new problems. And anyway... just a simple video review would have fixed yesterday's foul up.. no need for a chip. I don't see why a video review can't be used on every play.... nor why it should take a long time to make a video review... which is why the NFL doesn't do it.... they don't want to slow up the game.
Yesterday "we" knew he had not made the first down almost instantly.... almost zero delay. Why is that 'we' can know that quickly but the officials can't? - JamesJM
