If you have a gun, and you carry, hopefully you are trained.
If you don't carry, not much use if the gun is home and you're out of the house.
But the entire point is to be able to fight back. It is assumed the other guy will have a gun.
But, I also get it that it is just not in some folks DNA to fight back.
