(LOL!) Gotta hand to McVay...he's consistent in his thinking, if anything.
I believe that this mentality of "everything coming according to plan" and "not anticipating any conflicts" is exactly how he coaches.
It kinda explains the lack of counter-measures when something unexpected happens.

Your starting LT is out with an injury and his replacement (and $40M QB ) is getting smoked by the opposing Pro Bowl DE. Hey coach...do you think that we should start chipping at that DE?
