"LT probably is going to be our biggest need, along with Pass rusher. I have to review the tape but looked like jackson was struggling out there. Until we get a dominant LT and edge guy we are not going to be in the heavy weight class."I feel like Jackson is playing pretty well, especially considering he is a young player in his first year starting at LT. It usually takes the first round LTs a couple seasons to develop. He's faired pretty well out there on an Island against 3 Pro-Bowlers in 5 games, Nick Bosa, Trey Hendrickson, and Josh Sweat.
Consider with all the 5 & 7 step drops and playing next to a Rookie G, its been challenging but those two seem to learning on the fly pretty well. I think there is a good chance he might be a quality starting LT. I actually think our whole line might be pretty good by late season. Add some more power blocking schemes and we might all be pleasantly surprised.
I'm hoping, cause we all know dominant LTs don't come cheap.
