Agree about Hoecht. He can have a rotational role on this team. But his first step is way too slow (he's slow period), he's not a full-time starting edge rusher and he should
never, ever be covering TEs downfield.
I think Durant and Kendrick have to be graded a bit on a curve given their lack of pass rush. QBs are sitting and sitting back in the pocket way too often. For the season this secondary overall has done alright considering. Though I do hope there are evaluations and discussions going on about Tomlinson and Shelley and when/how/where they might be able to contribute more.
Tackling was poor but I think that was more a product of playing against an elite OL and just a much better team overall. I'll give it a pass since they've tackled well overall for the season.
I like Jackson and think he was just not 100%- plus playing against some really good DE. I'd like to see him as their LT in 2024 because he has not yet hit his ceiling and as a RFA they can maintain continuity on that left side with him and Avila and have him back for a modest amount next year while investing elsewhere (pass rushers...).
The TD right before halftime was a killer. It was clear that was going to haunt them in the second half.
