In anything, the enemy of well laid plans is execution. For the most part, the folks on your list are doing just that- executing their assignments.
As for Atwell, he's one of those guys out there performing. He's shown he can get open against press coverage (and they've schemed to better allow him to do so). He's had soft hand and doesn't blow it when his name is called. I feel he's stepped into the role originally meant for VJ, and makes that guy expendable. That's the way this is supposed to work, one guy sinks, another rises to fill the role. I wouldn't say this is surprising, but he's almost passed his entire career stats four games into this season. All we knew before was that Atwell had the capability to be good. Now he's showing us he is good.
