I'm the first to admit I was wrong about what he could be for them this year. I had him as 50/50 at best to make the 53-man roster...
But it's pretty hard to complain about what he's given them through 4 games after being thrust into a starter role. Sure, he caught 13 of 17 targets in weeks 1-2 (plus the
almost rushing TD...) and 9 of 18 since. But defenses do adjust once they see tape and other factors can play in.
The ideal scenario is hopefully approaching where Kupp and Nacua are the primary WR and Atwell, Jefferson, Skowronek and Robinson can play their contributor roles behind them.
