He seemed to catch anything that hit his hands. And like 21 said as well, he just never got used. He'd make a big play and that would be the only time his # would be called. I think his main issue was route running in the pros. The only way that can be fixed is being out there, or working over time with it. The main thing was his ability to catch the ball away from his body, he had that coming into the league, so it would be (IMO) a matter of time for him to finally come around.
I think the main thing people had against him was they picked him over that center ( I will not name)....But again for me I saw he had the ability to catch almost any pass thrown to him......Just glad they kept him around, glad he worked himself hard in the route work, and glad he has changed some minds....
