If your players are willing to "Tank" how can they build a clubhouse that believes, trusts and plays for each other. So you think they just turn the spigot off, go from playing hard, trying to find ways to improve to finding ways to screw up? Insane IMO......You want Puka to drop some passes, maybe see Matthew hurt?....How do you tank?
So you think we can keep going with an aging Matt Stafford at QB behind this offensive line and capture the hearts of fans in Los Angeles? This team is as dull as Matt Stafford. Los Angeles needs a star who can excite with his mobility and arm. They need Caleb Williams! Look at the Chiefs with Pat Mahomes, Eagles with Jalen Hurts, Packers with Jordan Love.
Stafford has become Jim Everett or Marc Bulger 2.0.
Sorry, but this is as off the mark as us shopping for Taylor. If we don't have the pieces in place to keep Stafford upright, you think Williams can do it all by himself? You think Taylor is going to start calling running plays? The deficiencies aren't in our Star players, it's the support cast. And we can talk about this young team and young players making mistakes. Most of us knew this was coming. It's called "growing".
But I'm still on our stubborn Coach leading us to this loss, and it's all on him at the moment, IMO. Blowing it all up isn't going to change that one iota.
And even if it may appear like we're tanking at times, that's just not happening. But please, carry on.
